Pros +
- The location was good, and the staff were nice and tried to find us a quieter room and gave us a second blanket. There were two chairs in the room.
- I like the location of the hotel. Walking distance to train and bus stations. Restaurants and convenience stores are beside the property. Comfy beds to the point that we want to sleep more than to go anywhere.
- This is my third time to stay in Han She Hotel, and I always choose to stay here because the location is great.
Cons -
- The room wasn't clean. Bad soundproofing - we could hear a lot of noise from the street. They don't give a second room key card, which is annoying when traveling with a partner. There is no curtain in the shower, so you have to shower sitting down, which is common, but the soap and shampoo are high, so you have to get up for them. Or shower very carefully so as to not splash the bathroom with water. There is no hand soap or a place for a hand towel. In our second room, the door didn't close. The room is cold, the mattress is hard, and there is only a thin blanket. You can't control the room temperature in the AC.
- I think you need to upgrade or change your pillows
- I hope the staff would do housekeeping without the guests needing to ask, especially is the guests are staying for more than 1 night.

The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were friendly and polite.
Unfortunately, almost everything else about this hotel was disappointing. The address shown online makes it look as if the hotel is located on a main street, but the actual entrance is hidden inside a very narrow five-foot alley surrounded by old, dirty, and messy buildings. The foul odor coming from the alley’s drainage system was extremely unpleasant and difficult to bear. The room itself was much smaller than it described on the webpage. The photos of the hotel’s exterior and rooms on Booking.com are misleading and do not reflect reality. The room also felt unsafe. The door lock was not a modern key-card lock but an old-fashioned key lock without a deadbolt. Once inside the room, there was no way to lock the door from the inside securely, and there was no peephole to see who might be knocking. This lack of basic security made me feel very uncomfortable.Additionally, the in-room safe was just a small metal box placed loosely inside the closet. It was not attached to the furniture or the floor, meaning it could easily be picked up and taken away.I prepaid for four nights for a total of USD $1000, but the hotel refused to refund even one night despite the misleading descriptions and poor conditions.
Dear [Hotel Name/Team],I’d like to share some feedback about my recent stay. The power sockets were quite far from the bed, which made charging devices a bit inconvenient. The hair dryer was small and not very effective, and unfortunately, there wasn’t enough body wash provided in the family room — it ran out on the first day. Additionally, since no extra hair dryer was available, it took me a long time to dry my hair.I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience in the future.Thank you for your attention.Best regards,[Your Name]
Quite central with working elevator..fridge etc
Musty smell and air conditioning not that effective
The beds were really comfy and the size of the room was quite large! The location was perfect for Ximen.
I couldn't control the temperature of the room, there was only an on/off button for the AC. It gets quite cold. Also the button for the 4th floor lobby doesn't say 4 so be careful! It says 'lobby' in Chinese, so people who don't know the language may get confused.
location was great, short walk to train station and walking distance to some attractions.
no windows in room, no cups to make tea/coffee. Not sure where the other guests were on our floor - seemed very quiet which is not a bad thing. Looks like some rooms were residences.
Room very clean and nice, bed also very comfortable. Location very ideal and just few minutes walking distances from MRT
The room no daily cleanup, but you can request for clean up, this the eco policy , no a problem for me.
The hotel is located in a small alley just off the main street, very close to the Ximending Night Market (only about a 5-minute walk). It has a beautiful, luxurious design (with slightly dark-toned colors) and is fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The reception staff are very friendly and speak excellent English.
The downside is that the room size is very small and cramped
Great location and the room had a great very comfy bed. Lots of shops around and Starbuck across the road. The staff at reception are so helpful and amazing.
The AC made noise and there was no way to control the temperature. Also, the kettle in the room was leaking. The shower could do with a certain, so the bathroom floor doesn't get wet.
Very good location and close to Ximen Metro Station. The staff was very kind and they let me to store the luggage when I did the check out. Rooms are clean, nice and comfortable. The access to the hotel is trough an internal corridor at ground level, between two retail shops. You need to take a lift to the 4th floor to get access to the Lobby. It gives you a more authentical experience going inside Taiwanese environment.
Perhaps an additional signage to help you finding the entrance to the Hotel at Ground Level will be beneficial.
near restaurants, shopping center and train station. quiet environment.
The best features of the property are its location, room size, and staff. It's located in the heart of Ximending, with many restaurants, shops, convenience stores nearby. Room was so big even for 4 people. The staff were friendly, efficient, and very accommodating.Shower needs a curtain and handle so you can get in and out safely. Also missing was floor mats for the bathroom floor.
Location
Rooms too outdated. Towels smell a little weird. Issues with our rooms. AC got busted all at the same time thats why we were able to check in 8pm.
Very convenient
Can be better if they provide full room service include topping up of daily necessity n breakfast. Can consider having a better security n provide safe box inside room.
The hotel once said to return money because the booking is made by mistake and they said they’ve proceed the money. 10 days later, I asked for the return they said they can not. That’s not fair.
Location is nearby MRT station. East to locate
No toothbrush provided and no breakfast offered.
Friendly & helpful front desk. Good location. Value for money.
The toiletries- small packs of shower gels and shampoos not sufficient.
Clean, comfortable room.
Difficult to find.
